NCCDP Fall Virtual Conference 2020
→ All active NCCDP Participants must register for and attend all presentations. Volunteers and significant others may choose which presentations they wish to attend.
→ It is imperative that attendees have a device with audio and video capabilities.
→ A cell phone will not display the PowerPoint presentations effectively. To guarantee the best experience please plan to use a laptop, iPad, Microsoft Surface or desktop with a microphone and camera, etc.
→ All attendees should be using their own screen and not be sharing with another participant. Separate screens are required to verify attendance.
During the Zoom Conference, we ask you to observe the following:
1 – Find a quiet location with reliable internet connectivity.
2 – Make sure your location is void of noise, pets or other family members that may interrupt the lectures.
3 – No napping, yapping, apping or texting during the Zoom conference.
4 – Find a comfortable table or desk inside (not outside) to view the conference each day.
5 – Be sure your video is activated the entire time for attendance confirmation.
6 – You will use your first name and first initial of your last name. Set that up in your profile prior to the start of the Conference.
7 – Confidentiality must be protected. With that in mind, the image or name of any attendee must not be viewed by anyone else in your household.
8 – Realize that all attendees will be muted during the lectures for speaker courtesy.
9 – Use the “Chat” box for comments or concerns during the lectures.
10 – Use the “Q & A” box for questions to the lecturers only.
11 – Please have any food or drink that you desire at hand during the lectures.
12 – Please minimize bathroom breaks or any personal time away from the Zoom meeting. There will be breaks between the lectures.
13 – If you lose connection to the conference, just re-enter by clicking on the Zoom link again.
14 – Call CDP office 910-944-1150 if technical questions before or during the meeting.
→ All attendees will receive CE certificates sent from the CDP office after the Conference. As usual, you will receive a separate certificate for the dental credits.
