Introducing the Newest Member of the NCCDP Team

The New NCCDP Volunteer Coordinator for Dentists

Cynthia A. Bolton, DDS has agreed to act as Volunteer Coordinator for Dentists until she can be officially appointed by the NCCDP Volunteers at the annual Jake Thorpe Fall Conference this September. Dr. Bolton practices General Dentistry in Reidsville, North Carolina. She received her DDS degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Bolton strongly identifies with the mission of the North Carolina Caring Dental Professionals. “Our organization created by our colleagues, for our colleagues and their families, saves careers and lives. It is such a blessing to have an organization to turn to for support and advocacy during times of crisis.”

Dr. Bolton and her staff volunteer with the Rockingham County Health Care Alliance, which provides free dental services to needy patients in the community. The Rockingham County Health Care Alliance was awarded a grant from the North Carolina Dental Society Foundation, in 2019, to provide removable appliances for this patient population.

In her spare time, Dr. Bolton can be found with knitting needles or a crochet hook in her hands. She also enjoys yoga and meditation, and other forms of exercise that are not really exercise. She checked hiking the Inca Trail off her bucket list this past year, and found that hiking was definitely too much like exercise! Dr. Bolton lives in Summerfield, NC, with her amazing husband, Joe, her two children, Sara Beth and Joseph, and her fur baby, Ringo. Their cats Loki and Freya allow them to share their space.
