Under what circumstances is an anonymous referral reported to the NC State Board of Dental Examiners?
Anonymity will be broken if the participant:
(1) Constitutes an imminent danger to the public or himself;
(2) Refuses to cooperate with the program, refuses to submit to treatment, or is still impaired after
treatment;
(3) Or if it reasonably appears there are other grounds for disciplinary action. This decision is made in
conjunction with the NCCDP’s Compliance Committee.
